  I am currently using our lab's human intestinal organoid platform to study intestinal development and maturation with the goal to improve the translatability of this system. I am also developing models of pediatric intestinal diseases to understand how these conditions affect intestinal development and to inform the design of targeted treatments.

  Fun fact: I like to spend time outside of lab trying out different hobbies out of curiosity (lately I've been focused on leatherworking to make bags/wallets) and watching Formula 1 racing on the weekends.
