Briana is currently in the 3rd year of her Ph.D. studies as a candidate in the department of Cell and Developmental biology. Setting the bar high, she published her first paper in PNAS at the end of her 2nd year of studies. Briana's work focuses on lung development, branching morphogenesis and differentiation of hPSCs into lung organoids.
In her spare time, Briana is an avid runner and has completed several marathons, which has prompted several lab members to question her sanity.
