Alana Graduated with her Ph.D. in 2017 from the department of Cell and Developmental biology in the University of Michigan medical school. Alana's research  focused on the role of Wnt signaling during early embryonic intestine development, and on deciphering the mechanisms that regulate villus morphogenesis and intestinal epithelial development.
