I am a second-year PhD student and i am interested in studying the influence of immune and endothelial cells on epithelial cell fate and maturity in the alveoli of the developing lung. I also hope to develop more complex in-vitro models of the alveoli that incorporate other cells in the alveolar niche such as immune and endothelial cells.
